
Mt Ontake volcano in central Japan has erupted, injuring at least eight people, leaving more than 250 people stranded near the peak and forcing aircraft to divert their routes, officials and media said.

27日正午前、長野県王滝村と岐阜県境にある御嶽山が噴火しました。これまでに1人が骨折、7人が軽いけがをしたほか、4人が灰に埋まっているとの情報があるということで、警察などが確認を急いでいます。
