Epic Rc Boat Crash and Sink
Brought By How To DIY Rc My first homemade Rc boat with a 50mm EDF gets run over by a sea ship this sea ship crash takes my little Rc boat with him all over the world...
at least that's what I hope for... because we really don't know!
All we know is its gone my homemade Rc boat is never to be seen again.
It's a shame because it was flying over the water and still easy to keep in a straight line
So the upgrades we made is perfect even down to the thrust angle that kept the DIY Rc boat level in the air with a jump, that's one of the most difficult things with an airboat design
most of the times they take off from water during a jump or when they suddenly lose thrust at high speed they tend to flip and crash hard on the water
most people don't know that the thrust angle is what keeps the nose of the airboat pointed down on the water
if by any reason that thrust angle disappears by a sudden motor failure at high speed it stops pointing the nose down on the water and it takes off in the air
those a double flip and crash upside down back in the river 99% of the times
So when you build your own speed breaking record DIY Rc boat ( crash ) and take it out on the water for the first time be careful with your throttle
take your time and go slowly of the gas and on the gas and try to stay away from your own waves you don't want to jump and crash!
Good change you need to swim to recover it...

yeah, as always, I put the most powerful motor in that I can, 1300w is a hell of a lot in a 65cm hull lol.
I don't have the ideal prop size yet, it's on order, I only have a 30mm and it should be a 38-40mm but during last night's obligatory bath test I discovered that a 30mm prop is still going to deliver a lot of power when bolted to a savage motor and I managed to empty half the water in the bath straight out the end and up my wall and across the floor in just the 2 seconds I ran it at full throttle, can't wait to get it out on open water!!!

- HMM what's that little thing that hit my belleh? (Weird sorta dark voice but not dark) Says the big boat.
- REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE screams the tiny/small rc boat (high pitched)

For your next boat, fill the nose with expansion foam, it's not going to save it is another ship runs it down and it gets hit by the prop but for any other kind of incident it will make the boat unsinkable, even if it totally fills with water, the nose will bob up and down on the surface

I want to build a recovery boat before I try opening it right up incase I flip it, this boat will not self right itself, I've epoxyed a magnet into the nose for the recovery boat to attach too, I'll be fishing for boat with boat ha ha.
Hopefully I'll have the boat on a run in the next couple of weeks, I'll post a video when I do.

I recommend a catamaran kind of style boat made from 2 big platoons from foam ore big plastic pipes coke bottles with a metal or wooden dowel frame in the middle where you can attach any thing you like that's my design plans in a bottle

- DIY Rc: and cut to tiny pieces ye that whas my first tought but after searching for 4 ouhrs not finding a single piece of my little rc boat made me wonder that it dident get grabb by on of this metal things sticking out at the underside of the sea ship...hopefully taking my homemade rc boat for a trip over the world :D

My FPV boat while be doing everything you can imagine
at this, time it's catching fish by pulling a line behind the boat but I'm already building a simple bait box and bizzie with making Rc fishing pole and underwater FPV but that's not finished Yet!
