Wltoys K989 1/28 Rc Drift Project EP4 Longer Wheelbase Mod For Easy Drifting Experience

Extending the wheelbase of wltoys k989 making it easy drift the car without spinning out and I recommend this upgrade for all beginners

Because a car with a longer wheelbase can handle more power in the corners because it more stable and less tendency to spin out
Making it easier to drift but it's more difficult for drifting in a small and narrow space because it takes longer to turn the car sideways!

A smaller wheelbase, on the other hand, makes drifting in a small space easy but the car is more twitchy and more likely to spin out!

This upgrade part is very cheap and makes a big improvement on the car handling in corners and is perfect for beginners to learn to drift easy and get a good feeling with the car

4. DIY Rc: it's almost perfect you do need to remove just a tiny bit of the wheel wells there are no holes for the body post yet you need to make them your self to make it fit your wheelbase hope this answers your question? thx for watching and you can always ask anything np :D
5. Rudy Nunweiler: Hi. nice video. I have been watching all of them. I was just wondering if lengthening the wheel base will be ok with the Porsche shell. Will I need to make the wheel wells bigger or extra holes where the post for body clips come out to center the shell better over chassis? I don't have the shell but was planning to order it so that is why I ask. Thanks for any help.

DIY Rc: hahaha when you uploaded locking your diff I was just editing my version of it and now this lol luckily we do have different cars and have different style's of making vids so they are not direct copy's and still add value to youtube library :D this probably going to happen more often but i don't see any problems youtube is big enuff for us both and i'm an updating my playlist every day and see how much crap and direct copies are being uploaded it's horrible how many creators i have given a heads up because their vids are being copied :( just upgraded to my turnigy 9xr pro and with some fine tuning it's performing good and kills that insane amount of expo on the stock radio but can't say the stock radio is totally crap got it drifting pretty easy with the stock radio as you can see in this intro!

19. Beaver's Hobby: Haha I did the same with my Q7 and the video is in editing right now. I'm not surprised though, we got the car roughly the same time and doing pretty much the same thing. Edit: I forgot to say that it's a very good step for you to upgrade the transmitter. You will feel a lot of difference because the stock Tx is, to put it mildly, crap.

DIY Rc: haha, i know where your coming from mate but the car is a lot easier to work on than my Feiyue FY03 it just a few bolt and the car is fully disassemble and this little car is way stronger and more durable than I ever expected to be :D it's great fun indoors where it's nice and warm at the moment :D
