yes i have narrowed it down to RAM or a Power issue! i am guessing it is RAM, as i have put the old PSU back in and it appears to be working.
if i can find some DDR2 ram cheap i will upgrade the thing to 8gig. 2x 4gb sticks or 4x 2gb sticks.. what ever works out the cheaper option.
Wow! just looked on ebay, Damn Ram is expensive! looks like i'll be sticking with this 2gb memory stick for a while hehe. i cant go throwing £50 on my computer just to replace what i have. ive got my car insurance to think about! and thats gonna be around £900!
