I think i have found out what this is..
".-.. --.. --" in morse decodes to "LZM" googleing "26mhz LZM beacon" come up with some interesting results:
it is one of many 26 MHz Driftnet / Fishing net Beacons. (and i am right in the center of the UK! hundreds of miles from the sea!)
LZM transmits on 26.750mhz, 26.855mhz, 26.905mhz, 26.925mhz, 26.945mhz, 27.150mhz, 27.190mhz, 27.220mhz, and 27.230mhz.
no wonder i found it!
