Yaesu FT-857D Fault with Squelch Wont let any Station pass through JohnDragonMan

this fault can be made so it is not so bad, see here!

well my radio is saying "You Shall Not Pass" to any signal that is normally strong enough to break the squelch.

this fault has nothing to do with CTCSS or any kind of coded squelch however the radio acts as if it has coded squelch turned on. this fault will just happen out of the blue. it only effects FM squelch. this fault effects both 857 and 897 radios as i have had both radios and each one developed this fault.

i no longer have this radio because of this fault.
